Chicken Salad

This yummy dish combines two family favorites: creamy chicken salad and a comforting casserole! It is so versatile it would be delicious served for brunch, lunch, or dinner!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 (10.5 ounce) cans cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cups fried Chinese noodles (get them fresh from a Chinese restaurant or you can find them in the salad section of some grocery stores)

Let's Get Started

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix cream of celery soup, cooked chicken, celery, water chestnuts, mayonnaise, and onion together in a large bowl; spread mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Top the casserole with the fried Chinese noodles.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until casserole is bubbling and topping is crisp, about 45 minutes.
